How calls appear in HubSpot
How Kollie logs AI-handled calls in HubSpot: contact matching, what gets logged, and where to find call activities.

On this page
Once the integration is set up, all calls handled by Kollie AI are automatically logged in your HubSpot CRM. Here's how it works.
Contact matching
- If a contact exists: Kollie logs the call on the contact's activity timeline.
- If no contact exists: Kollie creates a new contact. The contact's properties depend on your mapping setup and the information exchanged during the call.
If the only available identifier is a phone number, and no additional data is collected, HubSpot shows an empty contact with only the phone number.
What gets logged
The following information is typically logged with each call:
- Call direction (inbound or outbound)
- Date and time
- Summary
- Extracted information that you have set up
- Kollie call log link
- Call outcome
Reading call activities in HubSpot
Once logged, you can view call activity on the contact's timeline:
- Open a contact record in HubSpot.
- Click Activities.
- There you can find all the calls made to and from that contact.
Details visible in the log may include:
- Time and date of the call
- Type of call (inbound or outbound)
- Kollie call log link
- Summary or transcript snippet
