When using Kollie AI, it's important to comply with regional and industry-specific regulations regarding AI usage, call handling and data storage. These rules protect customer privacy, ensure transparency and help you operate within the law.
Below are key requirements you should follow when deploying AI agents in calls.
AI disclosure
- In the EU, customers must be explicitly told when they are speaking to an AI agent.
- This disclosure should happen early in the conversation to meet compliance standards.
The easiest place is the agent's Introduction, for example: "Hello, you are speaking with the AI assistant of [Company]. How can I help you today?"
Call recording
- You must inform the caller before recording begins.
- Recordings are stored securely for 30 days and automatically deleted afterward.
- Audio files are never shared externally without explicit permission.
