At a glance
Easybell offers two ways to connect, depending on which product you have:
| Your Easybell product | Connection method | Availability | Transfers to internal extensions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloud Telefonanlage Pro | FQDN resource | Germany, Austria, France | Yes |
| SIP trunk | FQDN authentication | Depends on plan and country | No |
FQDN is included in Cloud Telefonanlage Pro. On some SIP trunk plans it is a paid add-on. Check the current Easybell price list, or ask Easybell to confirm the cost for your contract, before you activate it.
Before you start
- Access to my.easybell, the Easybell customer portal.
- The Easybell number the agent should answer on.
Part 1: Add your number in Kollie (both options)
- Add the number
- Go to My Numbers → Add Your Number.
- Select the country and enter your Easybell number. Then click Add.
- Attach it to an agent
- Attach the number to the agent that should answer. See Step 1 of the overview. A number without an agent cannot answer calls.
- Note Kollie's SIP domain
- In Easybell you enter Kollie's SIP domain without

Now follow either Part 2A or Part 2B.
Part 2A: Cloud Telefonanlage Pro
Easybell describes this setup for external AI services in its own guide, "FQDN connection for AI services".
-
Add an FQDN resource
- In my.easybell, open Cloud Telefonanlage → Resources → Add resource.
- Set the extension type to FQDN.
- Under Phone numbers, choose the Easybell number you added in Kollie.
-
Point it to Kollie
- In the resource, open Call handling → Forwarding and select FQDN.
- Enter
luvjtjd3aor.sip.livekit.cloud, then save the resource.
-
(Optional) Allow transfers to internal extensions
Use this if the agent should be able to hand a call to a colleague on your Easybell system:
- In the FQDN resource, under Call handling, enable forwarding to internal users and resources.
- In Kollie, add the destination to the agent's Call Transfer skill. Use the internal short-dial number followed by
@easybell, for example10@easybell.
The
@easybellsuffix is required. Easybell only allows this kind of transfer to internal users and resources. Transfers to external mobile or landline numbers are blocked.
Continue with Part 3.
Part 2B: Easybell SIP trunk
Easybell's own guide for this is "SIP trunk authentication via FQDN domain".
-
Make sure FQDN is available
Check in the customer portal whether FQDN authentication is offered for your plan. If it isn't, ask Easybell support (support@easybell.de) to activate it, and include your customer number. For example:
Hello Easybell team, please activate the FQDN feature on our SIP trunk so we can connect it to Kollie AI. Customer number: [your number]. Thank you.
-
Open the connection settings
- Go to Telephone connection, or Manage phone numbers on the dashboard.
- Open Connections → [your connection] → Configuration → Change.
-
Switch authentication to FQDN
- In the Trusted IP section, open the settings for incoming connections.
- Set Authentication via to FQDN Domain.
- Enter
luvjtjd3aor.sip.livekit.cloudand save.
-
Send numbers in E.164
- Under Incoming Number Signaling, choose the international E.164 format with a leading
+. - The result should look like
+49301234567@luvjtjd3aor.sip.livekit.cloud, not0301234567@luvjtjd3aor.sip.livekit.cloud.
Kollie uses the international number to find your number card and the agent attached to it.
- Under Incoming Number Signaling, choose the international E.164 format with a leading
Part 3: Test
- Call your Easybell number from another phone.
- The agent attached to the number answers.
- The caller's real number appears in Agent Calls History.
- Audio works in both directions.
- Cloud Telefonanlage Pro only: ask the agent to transfer you, and check that the internal extension rings.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | What to check |
|---|---|
| Call doesn't reach Kollie | The number is on a Kollie number card with an agent attached · the domain matches your number card · FQDN is active on your Easybell plan · the Easybell configuration was saved · numbers are sent in E.164 with + |
| Easybell won't accept the domain | Remove sip: · remove spaces before or after · enter only the hostname · check for typos |
| Transfer to an extension fails | You are on Cloud Telefonanlage Pro · internal forwarding is enabled in the FQDN resource · the destination includes @easybell · the short-dial number is correct |
